sanctuary for your Soul
The public may enjoy the Sanctuary's beautiful 400 acres of hiking trails from dawn to dusk. A number of walking paths have been created to make it easy for individuals or small groups to go around the lake, explore the woods and creeks, or rest at one of the several benches or shrines.
Trails can be accessed in three spots:
- Peggy's Path is the first parking spot on left upon entering our grounds. This leads down to the lake.
- Lake Trail begins between the Mission Advancement office and Mary Anderson Center, off to the left side of the large parking lot.
- Additional trails are further onto the property to the second parking lot, beginning with a gravel road.
**Dogs are allowed on leash.
Permission to fish is limited to those who are members of the Fishing club. If you are interested in joining, please call Fishing Club Answering Services at: 502-410-3959.
