Join us for the 9th annual MountFest—a tradition that brings together the best of regional artistry, music, and food in one family-friendly celebration. Held on the grounds of Mount Saint Francis Center for Spirituality, this event is free and open to all.Come wander the tree-lined paths, explore over 65 artisan booths, enjoy live music, sip on local wine and beer, and taste your way through a diverse lineup of food trucks offering everything from comfort classics to global cuisine.More than just a festival, MountFest is a reflection of our Franciscan spirit—an invitation to gather, create, and celebrate the beauty of life together.MountFest is a day where families, artists, and neighbors gather under the trees to celebrate all of creation. MountFest Tradition
Mount Saint Francis has been an integral part of Kentuckiana for more than 100 years. Since the 1920s, our annual summer picnic has been a cherished tradition, drawing thousands from near and far . In 2015, MountFest was established by the Mount Saint Francis Center for Spirituality to provide a premier event to celebrate the area’s arts, music, and food. The friars of our province have a long history of celebrating and honoring the arts. We're dedicated to ensuring that the beauty and spirit of artistic expression continue to flourish and inspire. -

More Than a Festival: A Mission in Motion
MountFest is more than a joyful gathering of art, music, and food—it’s one of our largest fundraisers, directly supporting the mission and ministry of Mount Saint Francis Center for Spirituality.
Proceeds from MountFest sustain our Retreat Assistance Fund, a vital program that ensures anyone—regardless of financial situation—can experience the healing grace of a retreat.
This fund provides scholarships for high school students, offers overnight retreats to individuals facing homelessness, and makes it possible for those carrying heavy burdens to step away, rest, and reconnect with God. -
